I’ve come to the conclusion that my primary goal in life if to make you happy, little one.
Not lazy or complacent or in possession of a life of ease and comfort.
Just happy.
The richest person on the planet right now is a man named Warren Buffet, and he is in the process of giving his fortune away to charity, and not a penny of it is going to his children.
I admire him for his unwillingness to provide his children with a life of ease and comfort. This is a man who recognizes that true happiness is derived in the results of one’s own efforts and accomplishments.
Not handouts.
Despite their lack of inheritance, his children are reportedly successful, happy and content with their father’s decision. Probably the result of being raised to be hard working, goal-oriented individuals.
That’s the kind of happiness I wish for you, little one.
