Day three in Boca Raton, little one, and we spent the afternoon at one of the best playgrounds that I have ever seen. Three levels of equipment, a carousel, outdoor, life-size video games, and more.
I kind of wish that some of my friends were with us. I suspect that even a bunch of grown adults could have had a blast playing tag or capture the flag on the equipment available.
Instead, Mommy’s former roommate, Corrina, who happened to be in town, met us with her son for some playtime and conversation.
Unfortunately, you were too little to take advantage of most of the playground, and you were a bit of a coward when it came to trying the age-appropriate activities, but it turned out to be a great afternoon nonetheless. You did a little swinging, a little rocking, a little music-making, and you managed to find a knot in a piece of wood that occupied you for at least five minutes.
You are a strange little girl, sometimes, but we love you just the same.
