An early dismissal from daycare because of snow convinced Mommy that there would be no afternoon nap today. And 99 out of 100 days, this would be true.
Then this happened.
First time for everything, little one. Probably the last time, too.

The life-altering surprise visit
Mommy brought you to school today for a surprise visit today, little one, appearing about five minutes after the final bell had rung to end the school day.
I can’t tell you how much this reenergized me for the rest of the afternoon. A flying-leaping-death-defying hug from my little munchkin can completely change my outlook on life.

A lot of preparation required in order to watch TV
Sometimes a couch and a couple pillows just aren’t good enough, little one.
Sometimes you require a couple of carefully chosen friends, a strategically placed umbrella, a well worn winter hat and your favorite red chair in order to enjoy Sesame Street.
I fear you are going to be extremely high maintenance, little one.

Trip to the Peabody Museum
We visited all three floors of the museum, little one, but we spent most of the time in the Hall of Dinosaurs.
